Your safety is our top priority at Escapade Ecotours - we follow charter boat industry code of practice for our training, safety and emergency procedures.
Every voyage begins with a briefing to ensure our guests are informed of what to do in the unlikely event there is an emergency, anyone prone to seasickness is offered over-the-counter medication and then are invited to use our supply of UV protection sun cream.
We start that way and keep our guests best interests top-of-mind throughout every voyage.
Escapade also carries the MOBi-lert man-overboard electronic detection system which adds even more assurance to your safety, especially during evening sails.
All our skippers hold a Senior First Aid certificate and possess the required maritime qualification to operate the boat – a Coxswains ticket as a minimum – and a radio operator’s licence. We notify the local sea rescue operations in Fremantle and Dampier of all our voyages as a routine procedure – in line with maritime best practices.
Our vessel Escapade holds a number of current certificates of survey with WA DPI Marine Safety for charter boat operations which require annual inspection of the vessel’s safety and emergency equipment .
Our professional crew take care of the sailing and your safety allowing you to make the most of your experience aboard Escapade.
There’s a few good reasons… to feel safe on Escapade.
